My Health?

I have been thinking about my health lately and realize that I do have a lot to be grateful for as far as my health is concerned. I have a brother who is not doing too good health-wise but he is trying his best to stay positive.

There was a time when I wanted to lose weight and I successfully managed to do so but people told me that I had lost too much weight and I kind of felt the same way too so I gained some of the weight back.

I do notice that if I eat a lot of sugar I feel more tired so I have tried to cut down on that even though I love having a nice cup of hot tea in the morning.

Even though my brother is diabetic he will be able to decrease that if he does eat right. It is something that he is struggling with because like me he loves to eat!

I'm also trying to drink more water because that is supposed to be more healthier and adding more fruits and vegetables and salads to my meals as well.

I haven't had any major health problems yet - Thank God!

President Obama Has Filed His Income Taxes!

I really don't fault the fact that the Obamas made over $5 Million dollars last year. Most of their income came from book sales and not the government salary.

I do have to admit though that I am just a tad jealous although I realize that they have worked hard for their money!

I just wish that it was a little bit more easier as far as money is concerned. Sure I know that there are such things as free money and unclaimed money.

I have been fortunate enough to have received government grant money to help me with my utilities and believe that money was very welcomed!

I have also checked to see if my name was on the list of unclaimed money but it wasn't.

So I'd like to say to the President and his family that I applaud the fact that you were able to make so much money last year. President Obama gives a lot of us hope that anything is possible!

Well It Looks Like I Can't File My Taxes Online!

I tried filing my taxes online today and found out that I couldn't go through with it because since I owe taxes the IRS forms that I am filing online requires me to give them my banking information so that they can automatically deduct the tax that I owe directly from my bank account.

Since I didn't want to give this information it looks as though I won't be able to file my taxes online so I will will have to fill out the IRS forms by hand and then mail it in.

This is kind of a bummer because if I file my taxes online then that means that the IRS will get it sooner. But it looks like I'm going to have to fill out the forms manually and then mail them in. I certainly don't want them going into my bank account - mainly because I don't have the money to pay them just yet!

Well to look at the bright side at least I still have time to mail in the forms. Hopefully I'll be able to get by with putting just one stamp on the envelope but I may have to resign myself to the fact that it just might take more than one stamp to mail in the forms because there are three forms that have to be mailed and I don't want to take any chances that this mail could come back - especially when it has to do with the IRS!
