The Weather Is Getting More Warmer And Humid....

and my hair is not liking it one bit!

I don't like the way my hair "sweats" out when it is humid so I usually use a perm relaxer to relax my hair and that lasts me for about 3 months!

I let my last perm wear out and can tell that it is gone because my hair is so frizzy! So its time for another perm relax!

I hate to say it though but first I'm gonna need some money to buy the relaxer because one of the good ones costs an average around $7! Wouldn't it be great if I could get some kind of government grant or financial assistance to get my hair "did"? I mean it's not like I'm going to a beauty salon to get my hair done. For the last several years I have been perming my own hair and I think I like it better that way!

Hopefully I'll be able to rustle up some money so that I can buy what I want! I don't know about how the current economy is affecting you but for me I have chosen to believe that where there is a will there is a way! Just because I don't have the money today doesn't mean that I won't have it tomorrow!

It could also be a "test" of some kind. In times of turmoil what does my heart say! To be quite honest my heart says to have faith! I have chosen my career as a writer and online entrepreneur and if this is a test to see if I waver or doubt my chosen career then I'm going to face it head on! What's the saying that I always hear?

Never Give Up!

Well, I Permed My Hair Again Today!

Well I permed my hair again today! It takes me about 4 hours from start to finish and sometimes it can get kind of messy but the end results (when I do it right) are well worth it! It's a lot more manageable when my hair is permed and I have more options for more different kinds of syles. (It's also the only time when I use my hair dryer!)

I know that a lot of women go to the hairdresser to get their hair permed or relaxed but I prefer to do it myself at home. It's a lot cheaper and besides I can be doing other things at the same time!

I don't have a favorite product although I try to avoid "Dark 'n Lovely" because (ironically) I think that it's too strong! The perm I used today is called "Pink" and I bought that one because because it was relatively cheaper than some of the others!



Me and my hair have a "hate / love" kind of relationship!

But now that its permed it should last me a good 3 months!

A Bad Hair Day!

I guess you could say that I am having one of those "bad hair" days!

The weather is hot and humid and sticky and when the weather is so humid my hair just sweats out to an un-manageable mess!

I really should wash it but I have somewhere to go so I'm going to wait and wash it the next day.

I was really lazy with my hair for the last few weeks because it was just too hot to do anything with it and I really didn't feel like doing anything to it so I just put on a cap and went on my way! (Of course I didn't have anywhere too important to go so that was a big help).

But I have come back to the realization that I want my hair to look presentable - even sexy-looking - so I'm going to go back to my "hair" routine.

Of course my most favorite shampoo is Pantene and for some reason Pantene also seems to be one of the most expensive shampoos there is but I am worth it! I love the way that Pantene makes my hair feel. There have been times when I have bought a cheaper brand of shampoo but my favorite is still Pantene.

It's also time for me to perm my hair again but this time I waited until all the perm was out of my hair because I had bought a cheaper brand of perm and I just didn't like the way it left my hair so I'm going to go back to my favorite brand of hair perm.

After I do all of the above then my hair will go back to looking its sexy best!
